Blue spent the next hour updating his report. Then he popped back into the case room. Bhardwaj and Craig were still there.

“Anything else turned up?” he asked.

Craig responded first, “Aye, chief, as you suspected, they’ve changed the data. But I got more stuff from the genealogy sites. I’m no quite done yet.”

“Good.” He turned to Bhardwaj. “Arvind, how did the tapes go?”

“We’ve got some real leads, chief.”

“Where’s Doctor Hendrickx, by the way?”

“Oh, she went off once we’d finished. Said she had plenty to do this evening.”

“OK. Thanks, guys, we’ll hear what you’ve got at the meeting in the morning. Ten o’clock.”
